Your guide through the fog

The self is the source of much mystery and turmoil. Add unexpected life events, interpersonal troubles, and difficult transitions to the mix, and it can be easy to feel lost in the fog. Sometimes we can rely on our community and resources to help us navigate, but often it is hard to find a safe space to express our feelings and explore our true needs. In a world where everybody has an opinion, finding someone truly unbiased to help can seem nearly impossible.

I work with individual children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and families. My goal is to guide you through that fog, whether that's anxiety, grief, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, social/relationship difficulties, identity crises, or culture clashes. I have worked with various cultural and subcultural communities, including LGBT, special needs, alternative lifestyles, and immigrant communities. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and it is important to me to understand where you're coming from so I can help you get where you need to go. I use attachment, behavioral, and narrative theories and interventions, catering my services to the client's needs. Ultimately, my goal is to meet your goals, because it is your life we are working on improving. Anyone can tell you how to live your life; I am here to lead you back to yourself.
